EDINBURGH
(FULL DAY): Travelling over the Firth of Forth via the ultra-modern Queensferry crossing affording us views of the famous original historic Forth Bridge we visit Edinburgh fondly known as "Auld Reekie" which means "Old Smokey", it is one of the most unique and memorable cities in Europe. Home to narrow, cobbled passageways, majestic buildings, and fascinating museums and attractions to explore, including Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, and the Vaults. During your visit you may like to take the opportunity to visit (not included) the Scotch Whisky Experience in the Old Town beside the Castle for an insight into production or visit the shop, a magnet for whisky lovers offering over 477 different derivations of whisky.
PERTH
(FREE DAY): Beautifully situated on the banks of the River Tay, the 'Fair City' of Perth, the former ancient capital of Scotland for five centuries. It was once a picturesque playground for kings and queens and today is a cosmopolitan gem offering a unique stylish shopping experience amidst a historic atmosphere.
STIRLING & THE ROYAL
YACHT BRITANNIA (FULL DAY): Stirling has always been one of the most important cities in Scotland, today it is a vibrant mix of the old and the new. Home to a host of attractions including the iconic Stirling Castle, towering over some of the most important battlefields of Scotland's past and The Church of the Holy Rude, located at the top of Stirling Old Town, crowning place of King James VI of Scotland! Later, we visit The Royal Yacht Britannia, the former royal yacht of Queen Elizabeth II. She is now permanently moored in the historic port of Leith - one of the most famous ships in the world, which for 44 years served the monarchy as their floating home and stunning setting for glittering state visits, official receptions, Royal honeymoons, as well as intimate, relaxing family holidays! She is still kept exactly as she was when in Royal service.
Situated in Perth centre, the award-winning Salutation Hotel is set in a historic building and offers an elegant Adam Resturant, Reids Bar and complimentary Wi-Fi in all public areas. Guest rooms each have a TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
