ABERGLASNEY GARDENS

(HALF DAY): Made famous by the BBC television series "A Garden Lost in Time" which followed its restoration, Aberglasney Gardens, is one of Wales' finest gardens. Explore 10 acres of over 20 different garden styles from formal to woodland, right through to exotic and modern, at its heart lies a fully restored Elizabethan Cloister Garden, that is the only surviving example of its kind in the UK today. After some free time, we return to the hotel for the afternoon at leisure in Carmarthen.

TENBY

(HALF DAY): Steeped in ancient history and surrounded by an imposing medieval stone wall, Tenby is one of the best seaside towns in Wales. Home to glorious beaches, a pretty harbourside, wildlife parks and fine Victorian houses.

BRECON MOUNTAIN

RAILWAY, BRECON & PONTSTICILL (FULL DAY): We explore the Brecon Beacons today, travelling first to Pant where we join the Brecon Mountain Railway. Our spectacular journey takes us into the Brecon Beacons National Park, through Pontisticill and along the full length of the Taff Fechan Reservoir before climbing to Torpantau, high in the Brecon Beacons and the summit of the original line. Afterwards, we visit the charming market town of Brecon, famed for its Georgian architecture, cafés, restaurants and selection of shops.
