BETWS-Y-COED & LAKE

BALA RAILWAY (FULL DAY): Travel through the beautiful Welsh countryside via Betws-y-Coed, set in a valley in the Snowdonia National Park, often referred to as 'Little Switzerland' boasting numerous craft, outdoor activity shops and cafés. We have also arranged a journey on the Bala Lake Railway. This narrow-gauge steam railway which runs alongside Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake), hauled by a historic Welsh steam locomotive, enjoys excellent views of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.

LLANBERIS

(FREE DAY): Located in Snowdonia National Park, from Llanberis you can catch Britain's only rack and pinion railway to Hafod Eryri, the visitor centre at the Summit on Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales (not included).

CAERNARFON, ISLE OF

ANGLESEY & PUFFIN ISLAND CRUISE (FULL DAY): Our first stop is historic Caernarfon, home to one of the most famous Castles in Wales, considered to be one of the greatest buildings of the Middle Ages and the venue for Prince Charles investiture in 1969. Later, we travel over the Menai Bridge, towards the impressive Beaumaris Castle where we enjoy a short photo stop. Built in 1295, and although unfinished, Beaumaris Castle is regarded as one of the finest Edwardian castles. Next, we join our cruise over to Puffin Island - home to many species of birds and wildlife. This leisurely cruise will take us around the entire island, with live commentary and local history along the way. Keep your eyes peeled and you might be lucky enough to spot one of the resident puffins, grey seals or bottlenose dolphins*! *Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
