Day 1

DDays 2 & 3
Enjoy the next two days at sea - the perfect opportunity to explore the ship, relax, unwind, and spend quality time with those around you. Whether you pamper yourself in the Green Sea Spa, experience all the outstanding cuisine onboard, enjoy the fantastic entertainment in the Palladium and other venues or play games with friends or family, there's something for everyone.
B, L, DDay 4
Our first stop in Portugal is Leixões, one of the countries' major seaports and widely associated with the exporting of port wine. Day trips to Porto are a popular activity, but there are also quayside beaches and cafes to enjoy on either side of the Douro River. There will also be the opportunity to pre-book an optional excursion to Porto, beautifully situated on the Douro River estuary in northern Portugal, it is one of the oldest European centres, and its core was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996. You'll find the Mercado de Natal do Porto (Porto's Christmas Markets) on Praça da Batalha, blending local makers, live music and a warm northern Portuguese atmosphere.
B, L, DDay 5
Happy Christmas! Spend your Christmas Day at sea to do as much or as little as you like, whilst indulging in the splendid festive fun and fayre, savouring the chefs' finest creations and onboard entertainment throughout the day!
Day 6
Today, we visit Casablanca, Morocco's modern metropolis, which combines the traditional and the contemporary. Discover a "winter wonderland" like no other with sunshine instead of snow and culture instead of crowds, against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. A visit to the Hassan II Mosque, Africa's second largest mosque, is highly recommended and worth a visit.
Day 7
Enjoy another day relishing life on the ocean wave as we travel towards the Canary Islands tomorrow.
B, L, DDay 8
Santa Cruz de la Palma, known as La Isla Bonita (the beautiful island), was built atop an old lava flow from a volcano just south of the city. During our visit to the capital city of the island of La Palma, one of the lesser-known islands, we invite you to take in its leisurely pace of life, eclectic colonial-era buildings and serene natural beauty overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, which locals claim is sun-blessed every day of the year.
B, L, DDay 9
Home to the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Santa Cruz de Tenerife is today's port of call. Boasting architectural marvels like the Auditorio de Tenerife and the more classical Plaza de Espana, the city is widely known for its famous beaches, still with Christmas decorations hung up!
B, L, DDay 10
We arrive this morning in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, where a warm subtropical climate and welcoming Spanish charm await. Spend your time wandering the historic streets of Vegueta, relaxing on the golden sands of Playa de Las Canteras, or soaking up the island's vibrant culture. For a festive touch, browse the lively outdoor Christmas market, filled with artisan crafts, seasonal treats, and handmade gifts. Later, return to the ship for an early evening departure as we continue our island-hopping adventure.
B, L, DDay 11
Today's destination is Arrecife, found on Lanzarote; it beckons with sunny charm and is set amidst volcanic Canary Island landscapes. Winding streets, whitewashed buildings, and azure waters create a serene atmosphere for exploration and relaxation. Our cruise ship casts off in the early evening, to start our New Year's Eve celebrations! Get your dancing shoes on as the celebrations begin, culminating in the countdown to the arrival of 2028 with a glass of bubbly.
B, L, DDays 12 & 13
Enjoy a relaxing start of the New Year with your next two days at sea.
B, L, DDay 14
Nestled in Spain's Galician region, we arrive in Vigo this morning. Home to a historic Old Town and stunning waterfront, you'll explore medieval streets and discover Castro Fortress while savouring the delights of fresh seafood and other Spanish delicacies. The Cies Islands are also just a short boat ride away for those looking for pristine beaches. An optional excursion will be available today, where you can visit the famous pilgrimage destination of Santiago de Compostela, the alleged burial site of the Biblical apostle St. James, whose remains reputedly lie within this legendary cathedral.
B, L, DDays 15 to 17
Enjoy your final few days onboard Ambition as we return to the United Kingdom. After breakfast onboard on our final day, we disembark back in London Tilbury, where our coach will be waiting to take you home.
