RHINE IN FLAMES
& BRAUBACH (FULL DAY) - After breakfast today, we travel to Braubach, a picturesque old town on the east bank. With wonderfully crooked old streets and alleyways lined with medieval half-timbered buildings, it’s a delightful place to explore. We return to our hotel for an early evening meal and to prepare for tonight’s Rhine in Flames spectacular in Koblenz. This pageant of fabulous fireworks and synchronised music illuminates the surrounding mountains and castles whilst creating magic before your eyes! Due to the nature of this performance, we recommend bringing blankets so you can relax during the fireworks displays.
COCHEM & BOPPARD
(FULL DAY) - Today’s excursion takes us to the traditional German town of Cochem. Located within the romantic Moselle Valley, few towns in Germany can match Cochem’s sheer charm and beauty. The jewel in this area’s crown is its spectacular twelfth-century imperial castle. We return via a stop in Boppard, where you can enjoy this UNESCO World Heritage Site with a splendid Rhine promenade.

Take in the world-famous gothic cathedral, which dominates the skyline, enjoy a stroll alongside the Rhine riverside, or if you’re looking for some retail therapy, visit the Schildergasse, one of Europe’s most popular shopping streets.
