Thanks to a Mediterranean feel, the English Riviera is a fantastic place to visit on our eggciting Easter long weekend in Torquay! Day 1

We travel to our hotel in Torquay.

Day 2

We enjoy a leisurely drive along the famous south Devon coast, often called the English Riviera because of its mild climate and subtropical palm trees, giving it that natural continental holiday feel! We visit Brixham, located in a scenic river location, famous for its fishing and colourful houses lining the picturesque harbour. We also take you to Paignton, a beautiful coastal resort home to the unique Dartmouth Steam Railway.

Day 3

Discover Torquay in your own time today. Why not take a scenic walk along the pier and promenade and visit the Royal Terrace Gardens? Here, you can enjoy some fantastic sea views across Torbay.

Day 4

Enjoy another free day in Torquay, or why not join us on today's optional trip? We first head to Buckfast Abbey, set in a picturesque valley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and home to a community of Roman Catholic Benedictine Monks. Visit the beautiful abbey and colourful gardens to learn about Benedictine life from its medieval origins to present. From here, we head to Plymouth to spend the afternoon in the vibrant city, well known for its historic maritime connections.
