Day 2

Step into the living history of Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. The walls of this castle, adorned with over seven hundred years of history, whisper tales of the past. Explore the panelled rooms, admire the fine furniture and rich tapestries, and marvel at the exceptional collection of Tudor portraits. An afternoon visit to historic Royal Tunbridge Wells offers a chance to stroll through the colonnaded Pantiles, a vibrant hub of unique shops and lively cafés.

Day 3

We enjoy a morning visit to Chartwell, Sir Winston Churchill's much-loved family home. Packed with treasures, artwork and personal effects, the National Trust has painstakingly preserved the rooms, remaining as they were when he lived here, evoking the career of the great statesman. This afternoon, we return to our hotel. Why not enjoy using the hotel's leisure facilities or heading to Chatham or Rochester? Follow in the footsteps of Charles Dickens to nearby Rochester, home to shopping and a Norman Castle or neighbouring Chatham, whose Historic Dockyard has been seen in TV's Call the Midwife. Both are easy to access using local transport options from the hotel.

Day 4

After a morning at leisure, we head to Leeds Castle this afternoon. Surrounded by five hundred acres of parkland, Leeds Castle is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful venues in Kent and home to a stunning birds of prey collection.
