Day 1
Start your holiday as we travel to our hotel, stopping at Springfields Festival Gardens and Designer Shopping Outlet along the way.
DDay 2
Enjoy visits to the neighbouring coastal resorts of Cromer and Sheringham. With a unique seafront townscape, Cromer is a traditional seaside town famous for its freshly caught crabs and a unique pier that houses its lifeboat station. Sheringham is home to an award-winning beach, fantastic coastal walks, plenty of quaint shops and the tremendous North Norfolk Steam Railway, which we enjoy a journey on. Settle into your seat and enjoy the whoosh of steam on this eleven-mile return journey!
B, DDay 3
This morning, we travel to the elegant resort of Hunstanton or 'Hunston' as it's known locally. Renowned for its unique striped cliffs and magnificent sunsets, this seaside town is a purpose-built resort and has retained its splendid Victorian charm and character. From the excellent beach to the tranquil retreat of the Esplanade Gardens, there's something for everyone to enjoy! We return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure; why not treat yourself to afternoon tea on the garden terrace or enjoy use of the hotel's onsite leisure facilities? Alternatively, you can make your own way to Castle Rising Castle, one of the most famous twelfth-century castles in England, just a short ten-minute taxi ride away.
B, DDay 4
After a leisurely morning, we travel to the Sandringham estate this afternoon. The private country retreat of their majesties, King Charles and Queen Camilla, and home to five generations of British monarchs since the Victorian era, your admission into this stunning estate includes access to the magnificent formal gardens created for King George VI. Wander through over sixty acres, including the shady woodland walk instigated by Elizabeth II with a collection of rhododendrons and magnolia trees brought up from Windsor Castle. We later return to Hunstanton via a visit to the nearby St Mary Magdalene church, the place of worship for the royal family each Christmas.
B, DDay 5
This morning, we begin our journey home with a stop in King's Lynn, a harbour town steeped in maritime history.
