Day 1
After this morning's departure, we'll travel to Windsor for a visit to the Castle, the family home to British kings and queens for over one thousand years. Set within the grounds of Windsor Great Park, the castle is the oldest and largest in the world, and highlights include the State Apartments, the Semi-State Rooms and St George's Chapel; the chapel is one of England's finest examples of Gothic architecture, was the wedding venue of the Duke & Duchess of Sussex and is where monarchs including Henry VIII, Charles I, George VI and Queen Elizabeth II are now interred: all are available to view and pay your respects. Afterwards, enjoy exploring historic Windsor before continuing to our hotel.
DDay 2
After breakfast, we visit Richmond upon Thames, one of London's most attractive boroughs, well known for its beautiful green spaces, views over the River Thames and as a long-time retreat for royalty. After some free time here, we continue to Hampton Court Palace with entrance included. Experience the public dramas and private lives of Henry VIII and his six wives in his favourite residence before exploring over sixty acres of gorgeous gardens and hedge mazes.
Day 3
We head to Kensington Palace this morning. This historic royal abode in a fashionable part of London was once home to Queen Victoria and Princess Diana and is now where William and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales, reside. Here, you'll be able to explore Queen Victoria's childhood rooms and jewel collection, as well as the State Apartments and the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection. There will also be some free time to stroll in the adjoining Kensington Gardens before beginning the journey home mid-afternoon.
