A Happy Hogmanay in Yorkshire

Day 1

After this morning's departure, we travel to historic York. Why not soak up the seasonal atmosphere in the city's shopping streets or visit the majestic historic sites, such as the city's variety of museums, York Minster or the medieval city walls? Later, you'll be welcomed to our nineteenth-century Yorkshire manor house hotel with a Buck's Fizz reception followed by your evening meal and an evening of fun and games.

New Year's Eve

Following breakfast, you’ll travel to Hull, where you can wander through the picturesque cobbled streets of the Old Town, visit the impressive Hull Minster, and explore the fascinating museums of the historic Museum Quarter. For those in search of a little retail therapy, the city’s New Year sales offer plenty of opportunities to pick up a bargain. Afterwards, we head for a rib-tickling matinee Pantomime performance before returning to our hotel. Later this evening, it’s time to get ready to celebrate the start of 2026 with our New Year gala evening. We start the evening with a glass of prosecco before a bagpiper leads you to your Gala Dinner, complete with a disco, fireworks and plenty of dancing to welcome the arrival of 2028.

New Year's Day

Happy New Year! Enjoy a leisurely start to your New Year with brunch this morning. Afterwards, we head into Bridlington, a stunning beach resort and working harbour where you may enjoy a bracing seafront stroll to clear your head from last nigh's celebrations. Upon our return at our hotel, we enjoy one final night of entertainment after your evening meal.

Day 4

After checking out, we begin our homeward journey by crossing the iconic Humber Bridge. Our final stop on our New Year’s break is the historic city of Lincoln. Alongside it’s famous eleventh-century cathedral (that was once the largest building in the world), you’ll find the picturesque Lincoln Castle as well as a fantastic variety of high streets stops to explore too.
