Day 1
After departures, we visit the historic spa town of Harrogate before continuing to our hotel.
DDay 2
Dating back to 600AD, Alnwick is a market town and home to a stunning castle and gardens, one of the Duke of Northumberland's residences. This afternoon, we head to the famed Holy Isle of Lindisfarne. Lying just off the Northumberland Coast, choose to explore the unspoilt village, towering castle or the ruins of the Saxon Priory from which the island got its name.
B, DDay 3
Home to one of the most recognisable landmarks in the UK, enjoy Durham on Easter Sunday. Home to a majestic cathedral and adjacent castle, this UNESCO World Heritage site forms one of Europe's most stunning city panoramas. After a carvery lunch back at our hotel, why not join our driver for an excursion to Whitley Bay, a lovely seaside resort where you'll find the beloved Spanish City?
B, DDay 4
We travel home with a stop in the Yorkshire market town of Thirsk, home of renowned vet Alf Wright, better known by his pen name James Herriot.
