After crossing the channel, we travel to our overnight hotel.

Our journey through Europe continues to our hotel in Bruck, Austria.

Day 3

Get ready to climb mountains from the comfort of our luxury vehicle as we drive along for the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. As we climb over eight thousand feet, be sure to keep a lookout for local wildlife, such as golden eagles, ibexes and vultures, that call these mountains and the Tauern National Park home. We also include a visit the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe visitor centre, which views the Grossglockner, Austria's tallest mountain and the Pasterze Glacier, the largest in Europe, so don't forget your camera!

Day 4

JUNE - After a delightful breakfast, our Austrian hosts will take you for an introductory walking tour of the picturesque riverside village of Bruck; following this, we offer you the freedom to explore Bruck as you please. In the afternoon, we take a short train ride to the bustling resort town of Zell Am See for a relaxing cruise on the Zeller See, a stunning lake surrounded by panoramic mountains. After our journey, we invite you to explore this year-round vibrant destination in your own time.

AUGUST - The day begins with a nostalgic journey on the Pinzgau Railway; this narrow-gauge railway travels through one of the most charming landscapes in the Alps. Travelling from Zell Am See to Mittersill, we follow the mountains to the mighty Krimml Waterfalls, the tallest in Europe. We return to our hotel for dinner before travelling by coach to experience the Magic Lake Show, a marvellous demonstration of dancing water, music and light beneath the summer sky on the Zeller See.

Due to operational reasons, the Pinzgau railway journey may use either a steam or diesel train.

Day 5

Travelling from Zell Am See to Mittersill, we follow the mountains to the mighty Krimml Waterfalls, the tallest in Europe. AUGUST DEPARTURE: After breakfast this morning our Austrian host at the hotel will take you for a brief introduction to the charming village of Bruck, following which you will have a little free time to explore at leisure. Later we will head by local train (excorted by your Skills representative) the short distance into Zell am See for an included boat cruise on the lake set amist a breathtaking surrounding mountain panorama. Afterwards there will be some free time for you to explore the pedestrianized town of Zell am Zee with it's historic old houses and souvenir shops in it's beautiful lakeside setting before returning by train to the hotel.
