Day 1

Wrap up warm as we visit the captivating city of Durham, home to cobbled streets crowned by the dramatic Durham Cathedral. After some free time here, we continue to our hotel, where we have time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2

We head to Beamish, the Living Museum of the North, and its unique Yuletide celebrations. Taste scrumptious seasonal cooking and be amazed as your favourite parts of the museum are beautifully decorated for the festive season. Savour the aroma of delicious home-baked goods cooking on the range, listen to merry music and try your hand at traditional crafts. Of course, no festive season is complete without a visit to Father Christmas or even a spin on the ice rink!

After breakfast, enjoy some free time in the walled city of York. With more attractions per square mile than anywhere else in the UK, why not take the opportunity to visit the National Railway Museum, the famous Shambles, follow a trail around the historic City Walls, or browse the famous St Nicholas Christmas Fair?
