Blackpool Christmas Bonanza

Day 1

Enjoy a relaxing drive throught the winter wonderland scenery of the Derbyshire Peak District en route to our hotel in Blackpool. On arrival there will be complimentary welcome drinks available, along with the opportunity to meet the hotel’s Management and friendly staff before this evening’s 3-course dinner.

Day 2

A full day at leisure in Blackpool today to explore all the festive fun on offer in Britain's favourite holiday resort, home to world-class attractions, award-winning beaches and the iconic Blackpool Tower. And it’s not Christmas without a festive-filled show, so why not take the opportunity to take in a perfomance of one of the varied options on offer this season (not included). This evening back at the hotel dinner is again followed by entertainment and later, for those wishing to go to midnight mass, mulled wine & mince pies on their return.

Day 3

Celebrate Christmas Day in the warmth and comfort of our hotel. After a hearty breakfast, you may wish to take a refreshing stroll out along the seafront before sitting down to enjoy a traditional Christmas Day lunch at our hotel. Afternoon tea and Christmas cake will also be available later and this evening a light buffet will precede an evening of entertainment.

Day 4

After breakfast we head north to the Lake District National Park and a visit to Bowness-on-Windermere, home to England's largest natural lake. From the shores of the lake, you may take a boat cruise (not included). Or simply enjoy a walk along Orrest Head or visit the wonderful World of Beatrix Potter. This evening we will enjoy a special ‘Farewell’ dinner.

Day 5

After breakfast we visit Oswaldtwistle Mills, an award-winning shopping village set in a former weaving mill with hundreds of years of history. With over 100 retailers all under one roof you'll likely pick up an early New Year sales bargain or two before we continue our homeward journey.
