Based on from our hotel on Bournemouth's seafront, we visit Poole and Wimborne Minister alongside Compton Acres and Kingston Lacy House, home to two of the country's most magnificent estates.

Day 1

We travel to your hotel today. After arrival, you will have time to explore your surroundings before dinner this evening.

Day 2

Found on the Jurassic coast, the bustling resort of Poole is a complete maritime location with a lovely quayside, historic old town, stunning natural harbour and some of the finest beaches in England. This afternoon, we travel to Compton Acres, one of the country's finest ornamental gardens boasting over three thousand varieties of plants, laid out in a circular route similar to jewels in a necklace.

Day 3

Enjoy all the traditional seaside attractions in Bournemouth in your own time. Why not stroll amongst the town's many glorious gardens and parks such as Alum Chine Tropical Gardens? You can take a beautiful walk from the seafront, passing the lush trees and shrubs from around the world, and enjoy fantastic views from the cliffs above or maybe jump on the land train for a scenic journey along the seafront to Boscombe Chine Gardens.

Day 4

This morning, we travel to Wimborne Minster, a historic market town. We also make our way to nearby Kingston Lacey House and Gardens today; this Venetian-inspired country estate in the Dorset Countryside is home to magnificent gardens that Queen Victoria had once sent her gardeners to for inspiration and is now under the protection of the National Trust.

Day 5

After checking out, we travel to picturesque Shaftsbury, a market town home to a fascinating Saxon history, thatched cottages and the picturesque Gold Hill, best known for its starring role in a popular 1970s Hovis advert. This afternoon, we return home.
