Day 3

An early start this morning takes us to Penzance to board our ferry for the Isles of Scilly. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for wildlife that might appear during the voyage - dolphins, puffins and basking sharks are known to inhabit these waters! Our ferry arrives in Hugh Town on St Mary's, the largest island in the archipelago, home to a cluster of shops, churches, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Explore the coastline features, large stretches of deserted white sandy beaches, dramatic rocky coves, stunning seascapes and beautiful walks that make these islands unique. We return via a late afternoon sailing back to Penzance, where our coach will wait to take us back to our hotel where a late dinner will be served.

Day 4

Today's full-day excursion first takes us to the pretty fishing harbour town of Porthleven, a popular spot for artists and photographers. From there, we continue to the south coast fishing port and holiday resort of Falmouth, home to the National Maritime Museum and known for its deep natural harbour, eclectic range of quaint independent shops alongside familiar high street stores, and, of course, the delicious Cornish pasties!

Day 5

After a leisurely start this morning, discover Cornwall's dark history at the award-winning Bodmin Jail. Built in 1779, this self-guided audio tour reveals gripping tales of Georgian and Victorian crime and punishment, including fifty-five executions within its formidable walls. We later return to Newquay for more free time to explore this afternoon.

Day 6

The final day of our holiday will take us to the bustling port and resort of Looe. Home to soft, golden beaches and award-winning restaurants, why not visit Looe's Museum to learn about the town's smuggling past or enjoy a stroll around the harbour? We then head to picturesque Polperro, an unspoilt fishing village that clings to the coast, making it a haven for artists and photographers alike. Make your way through winding traffic-free streets to the historic harbour and experience the 'real' Cornwall with a traditional cream tea (don't forget that it's jam first!).
