Day 1

Today, we travel north, stopping in seasonal Skipton before a scenic drive through the Yorkshire Dales towards the Lake District. On arrival at our hotel, warming mulled wine awaits us to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Christmas Eve

After breakfast today, hop on our coach for a winter wonderland tour of the Lake District National Park. Travelling via the northern shores of Lake Windermere, we first visit Ambleside; found at the head of the lake, it's home to Bridge House, the most photographed building in the whole of the Lake District. We continue along Lake Thirlmere to Keswick, found between the vast bulk of Skiddaw and the gentle beauty of Derwentwater. Our return is via Ullswater and the Kirkstone Pass (weather permitting) before an evening of entertainment following our dinner.

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas to all! Enjoy Christmas Day in the comfort of our hotel today. After a leisurely breakfast, why not exchange gifts or enjoy a bracing stroll through the snow? Enjoy your traditional Christmas lunch with a complimentary glass of fizz before an afternoon take in the King's Speech. Following tonight's buffet dinner, we enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Boxing Day

We visit Bowness-on-Windermere, found on the shores of England's largest natural lake. Enjoy the fantastic lakeside views on our included scenic boat cruise around the islands before visiting the wonderful shops for some Boxing Day sales bargains. Later this afternoon, we return to our hotel for a festive cream tea treat.

After breakfast, we begin our homeward journey full of Christmas cheer.
