Day 1
After boarding our tour coach, we make our way to the Rosemundy House Hotel in St Agnes.
DDay 2
Today's first visit sees us travel to Fowey, a popular harbour town found within a beautiful estuary and is best known for inspiring the works of its famous resident, Daphne du Maurier. This afternoon, we make our way to the Eden Project. Dubbed the Eighth Wonder of the World, explore this global garden housed within tropical bio-domes the size of thirty football pitches. Trek through the vibrant rainforests and meander through your Mediterranean and South African-inspired surroundings, visiting citrus groves, meeting ancient olive trees and savouring the scents of wild herbs and flowers.
B, DDay 3
Admire picturesque St Agnes in your own time today. Tucked away in an unspoilt spot on the North Cornish coast, St Agnes is a compact village with independent shops, beautiful beaches, world-class pubs, and restaurants. For fans of Ross Poldark, Winston Graham used the whole parish as the inspiration for the famous series of books and its television adaptations, dubbing it 'Poldark Country'. If you wish to explore further afield, frequent local bus services can take you to Newquay, Truro or Falmouth.
B, DDay 4
We head to Padstow today, a charming fishing village surrounded by glorious sandy beaches and best known for its culinary delights, from traditional Cornish Pasties to chef Rick Stein's award-winning seafood restaurant. This afternoon, we head to the famous traditional fishing village of Port Isaac, one of Cornwall's best-known destinations, the home of TV's Doc Martin and famed sea-shanty singers the Fisherman's Friends. Please note - due to traffic restrictions, you can only access Port Isaac on foot, walking down and back uphill.
B, DDay 5
Our final excursion first takes us to the picturesque fishing harbour of St Ives; with free time to explore, why not wander through the maze of narrow, cobbled streets lined with independent shops, fisherman's cottages, award-winning eateries and galleries showcasing the artists who flock to the resort? We also head to Land's End, the most south-westerly point on the UK mainland, for a 'must-have' photo opportunity. While there, keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife - seabirds are a common sight soaring above, and from the coastal viewpoints, you may even glimpse basking sharks, seals or dolphins in the surrounding waters if you're fortunate!
B, DDay 6
We travel home, making suitable comfort stops enroute.
