Day 1
After pick-ups, we travel down to the port of Bristol for our embarkation on our cruise ship. Once on board, relax, unwind and enjoy the fabulous facilities and entertainment opportunities available.
DDay 2
Enjoy today at sea, the perfect opportunity to explore the ship, relax, unwind, and spend quality time with those around you. Whether you pamper yourself in the Green Sea Spa, experience all the outstanding cuisine onboard, enjoy the fantastic entertainment in the Palladium and other venues or play games with friends or family, there's something for everyone.
B, L, DDay 3
This morning, we arrive in Lorient, a city on the Brittany coast, imbued with French charm and a distinct Celtic culture. Engage with local maritime history by visiting beautiful Catholic churches and the Second World War-era Lorient Submarine Base. Our ship departs Lorient early evening as we continue our cruise.
B, L, DDay 4
We sail into Le Verdun this morning, a French coastal town on the doorstep of Bordeaux's famous wine country. Explore historic harbours like Port-Medoc, visit coastal viewpoints such as Pointe de Grave, and take time to enjoy local flavours along the Gironde Estuary. A number of optional excursions also allow you to explore more of the Bordeaux region, most famous for its wine! After another glorious day of exploration we cast off early evening bound for the coast of northern Spain.
B, L, DDay 5
This morning sees our first Spanish port of call in ancient Santander - though much of the capital of Cantabria was lost to fire in the 1940s, the city is popular with tourists due to its bustling beaches, historic landmarks like the Cathedral of Santander, and rich local seafood from oceanside restaurants and market stalls. It is also home to the elegant Magdalena Palace, the former summer residence of the Spanish Royal Family, as well as the world-class Centro Botín art centre. Mid-afternoon we continue cruising along the northern coast of Spain, enjoying the ships splendid facilities along the way.
B, L, DDay 6
A breakfast-time arrival in El Ferrol today. Guarded by castles at its harbour entrance, Ferrol is one of Spain's oldest and most famous port cities. Stroll through historic plazas, visit naval monuments, and discover the city's maritime charm. An optional excursion will be available today, allowing you to visit the famous pilgrimage destination of Santiago de Compostela, the alleged burial site of the Biblical apostle St. James, whose remains are reputed to lie within this legendary cathedral.

Another relaxing day at sea to do as much or as little as you like.

After sailing north through the night, we arrive back on the briny coast of Brittany, at the French port of Brest, offering a seafaring spirit and countless maritime attractions. Stroll along quaysides, discover historic fortifications, and enjoy some unique Breton cuisine, before rejoining the ship ready for the early evening sailing.

ur final full day on board your cruise ship today, taking the opportunity to spend it as you wish.

After breakfast on board we arrive back in the port of Bristol where our coach will be waiting to take you home.

The second lady of the sea. Ambition is aptly named to further emphasise our commitment to inspire and delight every guest to enjoy an authentic cruise experience effortlessly, and sustainably.
Ambition will carry up to 1,200 passengers to give her a true sense of comfort and space in her 680 cabins.

Her dining options will inspire you with two main restaurants. Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink in one of her four bars, lounges and pub. Or take in a show in the tiered main theatre, or discover your hidden talents in the card room, library, and craft studio. Other facilities include the wellness centre, gym, two swimming pools and a range of retail shops, perfect for days at sea.
