Dutch Delights Cruise & Stay

Day 1

We start our departure by coach before making our way to the North Sea port for our overnight ferry sailings. Comfortable ensuite cabins & an array of entertainment are included onboard to begin your holiday in style.

Day 2

Breakfast is included on board this morning following which we arrive in Holland and after disembarking the ship we travel the short distance for a visit to the uniquely Dutch town of Delft, known for it's famous hand-painted blue and white pottery and historical centre, with it's centuries old houses, tree-lined canals and little bridges crossing the network of canals. Next we visit the historic city of Gouda, before continuing onto our hotel on the outskirts of Amsterdam.

Day 3

A full day excursion into central Amsterdam, often referred to at the 'Venice of the North' because of it's network of canals, there is so much to see and do in the colourful capital - perhaps taking the opportunty to board a fasinating sightseeing cruise, vist Ann Frank's House (pre-booking is recommended), the famous Rijksmuseum or simply people-watch in Dam Square.

Day 4

Today we explore traditional Holland with a visit to a local cheese farm and clog makers, the picture-postcard fishing village of Volendam with its traditional style houses, drawbridges and quaint canals, plus the beautifully preserved village of Zaanse Schans, with its authentic wooden houses, windmills, shops and museums. Late afternoon we return to the port to board our overnight cruise ferry with comfortable cabins and a host of facilities to enjoy.

Day 5

Arriving back on British soil after breakfast onboard, we retrace our footsteps home.
