Day 1

After today's departures, we travel south for a visit to Royal Windsor, home to the world's oldest and largest occupied castle, which is open to visitors year-round. After some free time, we continue to Eastbourne, where a warming mulled wine awaits us at our beachfront hotel.

Day 2

Our morning excursions see us briefly visit Beachy Head, famous for its spectacular white cliffs, before continuing onto Brighton. Bursting with independent shops in the twisting alleyways - an excellent opportunity to pack some Christmas shopping in - why not head to Brighton's beloved Christmas Festival in St Peter's Plaza? This afternoon, we continue to historic Lewes. Dominated by a Norman castle, Lewes still retains its medieval streets. We later return to our hotel with a scenic drive through the enchanting South Downs.

Day 3

Day 4

Welcome to 1066 Country, where William the Conqueror fought for the English throne. We'll first enjoy the traditional resort of Hastings. Ride the unique funicular railways with stunning views, or visit the promenade for seaside fun, including an award-winning pier. In the afternoon, we head to historic Battle and Rye, an ancient Cinque Port.
