Elegant Sidmouth & A Little Bit of Heaven in Devon

Day 1

Today, we embark on a leisurely journey to our hotel in Sidmouth, with plenty of stops along the way for you to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

Day 2

Today, we head to Exeter, one of England's historically exciting cities and home to many unique attractions. These include the unique Underground Passages, the magnificent Cathedral, the imposing Roman walls, and the award?winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum. This afternoon, we visit Killerton House and Gardens, a Georgian country home with a beautiful year-round garden filled with rhododendrons, magnolias, and formal lawns, promising a visual treat for all.

Day 3

Nestled beneath the majestic red cliffs and green hills of the glorious Sid Valley, you'll have every opportunity to explore the lovely seaside town of Sidmouth in your own time today. Spend your day however you'd like, whether enjoying a leisurely walk-through of beautiful gardens, visiting friendly seaside shops or exploring the cliffs and sandy beaches of the Jurassic Coast.

Day 4

Regularly voted one of Europe's top ten beach destinations, Weymouth is home to beautiful golden sands and a pretty harbourside. We also visit Seaton's unique tramway, which operates narrow-gauge heritage trams alongside the River Exe estuary through two nature reserves and offers unrivalled views of the abundant wildlife!

Day 5

After bidding farewell to our hosts, we head to Tiverton, climbing aboard one of the very last horse-drawn barges in the country today. On this journey back in time down Tiverton Canal, our skipper will share exciting stories throughout the area's history. After our trip, we continue our homeward journey.
