Day 1

Today we travel to our hotel in Bideford with leisurely stops on the way

Day 2

Today we visit Ilfracombe with free time followed in the afternoon by a trip on the Ilfracombe Princess Wildlife Cruise which takes us past Brandy Cove, Breakneck Point, Fresh Waterfall, Lee Village, Bull Point Lighthouse, Rockham Bay, Morte Stone and then passing into Woolacombe Bay with view of Baggy Point, Croyde Bay, Barnstaple Bay, Hartland Point & Lundy Island. On this cruise we will regularly see Seals, Dolphins, Sunfish & Porpoises.

Day 3

Day at leisure in Bideford

Day 4

Today we cross the border into Cornwall for a visit to Bude for free time

Day 5

Today we spend a full day exploring the dramatic scenery of Dartmoor including the villages of Bovey Tracey and Princetown where you will have the opportunity to visit the National Park Visitors Centre located in what was the old Duchy Hotel, where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle stayed and started writing his famous Sherlock Holmes story The Hound of the Baskervilles. We also visit Buckfast Abbey where a community of Benedictine monks live self-sufficiently, welcoming visitors from all around the world.

Day 6

Morning visit to Dartington Crystal for a factory tour to learn about how Crystal items are made before returning via a visit to RHS Garden Rosemoor.

Day 7

Today we visit the village of Clovelly.

Day 8

We travel home today.
