After free time, we will continue to the Tuscan resort of Chianciano Terme and our main hotel for a four-night stay.
DAY 4
Enjoy a day to explore our resort of Chianciano Terme at your own pace today. Home to a historic town centre and one of the most famous thermal spa destinations in Europe, Chianciano provides a chance to relax or immerse yourself in the authentic culture and cuisine of Tuscany!
DAY 5
Full day excursion to Rome - Labelled the 'Eternal City' by its ancient inhabitants, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire and Italy's capital city. With an unparalleled history, Rome is one of the world's finest cities, with legend and mythology in every direction. Discover many impressive monuments and archaeological sites, including the Colosseum, St Peter's Square and Basilica, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Roman Forum and Sistine Chapel (to name just a few)!
DAY 6
Choose from either another day in Chianciano Terme, or alternatively, join us for an OPTIONAL excursion to Siena (£35 pp). Considered a fantastic example of medieval architecture, a visit here is like stepping back into the Middle Ages. Marvel at this beautiful city's sights, fabulous arts and traditions; the Piazza del Campo is the highlight of Sienna and hosts the yearly Palio horse race.

After breakfast, we depart Tuscany and begin our journey north towards Lake Garda. Known for crystal-clear waters, the towns and villages on the lake enjoy a milder climate than the rest of the region, known as the Italian Lake District.
