We travel to our hotel via a visit to Moffat, which is rich in history and heritage and most famous for its tweed.
Day 2
This morning, we visited the charming Ayrshire coast seaside town of Troon, which has a long beach, bustling harbour, and promenade walks. We enjoyed beautiful views overlooking the Isle of Arran. We return for a relaxing afternoon at leisure amidst beautiful surroundings nestled within a picturesque country estate, taking the opportunity to stroll around the 19 acres of hotel grounds.
B, DDay 3
After a leisurely start this morning, why not join us on an optional afternoon Ayrshire coastal tour? We first take you to the mysterious natural phenomenon Electric Brae, then onto heading to the pretty seaside conservation village of Alloway, the birthplace of Scotland's most famous poet, Robert Burns, where you'll have the opportunity to visit the museum, which offers an actual unique encounter with the national Bard (admission included)? From here, we continue to Ayr, a popular seaside resort on the Firth of Clyde boasting a charming seafront with an esplanade and long sandy beach plus a wide range of independent shops, bars and restaurants.

Enjoy a full-day excursion crossing the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran - be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the abundance of wildlife, from otters to basking sharks and over 100 species of birds. Arran is often called 'Scotland in Miniature' because of its variety of scenery and diverse landscape, including mountains, forests, beaches, and glens.
