Free time in Newquay

Day 1

After our departure, we travel to the South West and our Cornish coastal resort of Newquay.

Day 2

After breakfast, we visit Perranporth in our free time. Along with miles of gorgeous sandy beaches and turquoise seas, this resort has plenty of eateries serving the freshest seafood and many cafés and bars to enjoy. We return via picturesque St Agnes, a place steeped in Cornish tin mining history that retains a friendly Cornish atmosphere.

Day 3

Voted one of the nation's favourite seaside towns, enjoy free time in Newquay today. With our hotel located within walking distance of beaches and the town centre, there are plenty of attractions to keep you entertained with all the traditional fun of the unique British seaside.

Day 4

The charming fishing port of Padstow, a foodie heaven, is our first visit today. Why not enjoy a bite to eat at popular eateries, including Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant, or sit back, relax and watch the everyday ebb and flow of harbour life? Afterwards, we travel to Port Isaac, one of Cornwall's best-known destinations and familiar as the home of TV's Doc Martin. Found on a stunning stretch of coastline, the village consists of historic cottages along narrow lanes that winding down the hillsides to the cobbled beach littered with fishing boats.

Please note: Due to traffic restrictions in Port Isaac, the coach will park at the top of the hill, and passengers will need to be able to walk down to the village and back.

We return back to the East Midlands today.
