Day 1

Travel to our hotel via a stop in Harrogate for 2-3 hours

Day 2

Excursion to Holy Isle & Bamburgh Castle (timings depend on tidal times)

Day 3

A full day at leisure today to explore the affluent suburb of Jesmond with its posh clothing boutiques, chic cafes and leafy parkland. Alternatively, hop on the metro at the station just 2 minutes walk from the hotel and venture further afield into the centre of fashionable Newcastle upon Tyne itself where you’ll find a host of sightseeing, shopping and entertainment opportunities

Day 4

This morning we visit Washington Old Hall. After some free time we continue to Durham for the afternoon at leisure.

Day 5

Travel home via a stop in York for 2-3 hours
