Day 1
We set off for the English Riviera this morning, arriving at the Marine Hotel in Paignton, this afternoon.
Day 2
Enjoy an excursion into neighbouring Torquay this morning; one of the most elegant towns along the English Riviera, this award-winning resort is home to a bustling harbourside lined with cafés and bars, numerous attractions, and bundles of beautiful shops. Don't forget to try the selection of freshly caught seafood! We later return to Paignton for a chance to explore one of the English Riviera's brightest jewels this afternoon. Paignton's seaside resort benefits from a mild climate in which subtropical palm trees thrive, providing a continental holiday feel! Why not visit the award-winning beachfront, promenade, and traditional pier at your own pace?
B, DDay 3
Today, we make our way on foot to Paignton station, where we board the Dartmouth Steam Train. This nostalgic journey travels through the picturesque scenery of the stunning Devon countryside and along the coast to Kingswear. On arrival, we hop over the River Dart by ferry to historic Dartmouth, home to the Britannia Royal Naval College, best known for producing world-class Naval Officers since 1863 and the location where Queen Elizabeth II first met Prince Phillip. Stroll around the quayside, explore the town's winding Elizabethan streets and discover independent shops, art galleries, bistros, bars and cosy cafés serving Dartmouth crab, widely regarded as the best in the country. After some free time, we retrace our journey by train to Paignton.
B, DDay 4
On today's excursion to Sidmouth, you can enjoy exploring a beautiful coastal resort with a Regency feel. Situated in a flat, sandy bay surrounded by cliffs, Sidmouth has a unique variety of shopping options, an attractive promenade, and all the traditional seaside diversions of a typical English resort.

After breakfast, we return home to the East Midlands today.
