Day 2

After breakfast, we enjoy travel to the walled town of Pembroke. Dating back nine hundred years, Pembroke is best known for one of the most complete Norman castles remaining in the UK. It is also the birthplace of Henry VII, founder of the Tudor dynasty. We take a scenic drive from here along the Pembrokeshire Coast to St David's, the smallest official city in the country. Why not visit the twelfth-century cathedral, where you can learn all about the history of St David's and see the impressive Treasury collection?

Day 3

Sitting on the River Tywi, the attractive town of Carmarthen claims to be one of, if not the oldest, towns in Wales. We enjoy a free day in the long rumoured to be the home of Merlin, where plenty of incredible historical castles and towers, including the ruins of Carmarthen Castle, are all around us. Afterwards, why visit the local markets to find unique antiques, fresh produce, souvenirs and more?

B, D

Day 4

Today, we travel to Mumbles, which marks the beginning of the Gower Peninsula's coastline and is home to some world?class ice cream - but don't just take our word for it! After exploring, prepare for our Gower Peninsula tour from the comfort of our Optimum Experience vehicle, where a knowledgeable guide from the Gower Heritage Centre will join us. Afterwards, we return to the centre to enjoy a traditional cream tea.

Day 5

We return home today.
