Day 1
We travel to our resort with suitable comfort stops enroute. Upon our arrival, there's plenty to enjoy at Potters. Immerse yourself in 320 acres of beautiful Essex countryside at Potters Resorts Five Lakes, the UK's newest all-inclusive holiday resort. Enjoy West End quality performances in The Glade Theatre, reconnect with friends in the Garden Bar, row, row, row your boat on the boating lake, swing into action with golf, get your heart pumping on rally karts, set your mind racing with a VR experience or enjoy a variety of quizzes, crafts and live entertainment.
Day 2
Enjoy the whole day at the Potters Resort at your leisure; with a multitude of onsite leisure facilities and entertainment on offer, you'll have so much to do at Potters!
B, L, DDay 3
This morning, we visit Colchester, the first major Roman city in Britain and Britain's oldest recorded town; it boasts Europe's largest Norman castle and a medieval priory. We return in time for lunch at the resort and the afternoon at leisure.
B, L, DDay 4
Enjoy your morning at leisure before another half-day excursion this afternoon to Clacton-on-Sea, the largest town on the Essex Sunshine Coast. It boasts an array of entertainment facilities, including a pleasure pier, arcades, seafront walks, and an array of independent shops for retail therapy.
B, L, DDay 5
This morning, we begin our journey home, visiting the Tiptree Jam Museum, shop and tea rooms. Here, you can see Tiptree's history and how the art of preserve-making has changed over time. Make sure to visit the shop to stock up on delightful treats. After lunch today, we will make suitable stops to return to our original departure points.
