Day 1

We travel to Gretna Green for free time. Hailed as 'The Gateway to Scotland,' it's most famous for being the marriage capital of Britain. From here we continue to our hotel near Prestwick.

Day 2

A full day scenic drive exploring Loch Lomond and the Trossachs - we travel through Aberfolyle for a visit to Callander. After some free time there we continue through the Trossachs and along the length of Loch Lomond calling at Loch Lomond Shores Visitor Attraction, before returning to the hotel.

Day 3

Today, we travel via a scenic drive along the Firth of Clyde through Largs to Glasgow. Home to a rich tapestry of history and culture, the city offers a plethora of activities to suit every taste. Enjoy some free time to explore this wonderful city on the River Clyde. Look around the Hunterian, Scotland's oldest public museum, the Riverside Transport Museum, or simply wander the bountiful shops in this bustling city. After returning to the hotel this evening the will be time to prepare for this evening's Burns Night celebrations, including a traditional Scottish Bagpiper.

Day 4

After a fantastic stay, we travel for a lunchtime visit to Carlisle. See how many of the three most famous city attractions (Carlisle Castle, Carlisle Cathedral and the award-winning Tullie House Museum) you can squeeze in before we begin the homeward journey early afternoon.
