Day 1

We travel via ferry to Ireland and our hotel, stunningly situated in the heart of the beautiful Westmeath Lakelands. Nestled in the countryside, this luxurious 4* hotel is noted for its delicious fine dining, attentive service and superb leisure facilities.

Day 2

We head into Dublin early this morning for the city's St. Patrick's Day celebrations and to get the best vantage points to experience the world-famous parade! Away from the festivities, why not see the local sights, including the Millennium Spire and Trinity College, the Guinness Storehouse, or the heart of the city in Temple Bar?
NB. Evening dinner is NOT included at the hotel tonight as we stay in Dublin until early evening so you can enjoy the city’s celebrations to the full.

Day 3

A leisurely start this morning to take advantage of the hotel's extensive leisure facilities. This afternoon we include an excursion to Athlone, a captivating town oftern referred to as the "Gateway to the West". Stroll through its streets and perhaps explore Athlone Castle which stands proundly overlooking the River Shannon.

After our final breakfast we travel to Dublin for our return mid-afternoon ferry crossing to Holyhead before we make our way home arriving after midnight
