Day 1
We travel across northern France to an overnight hotel.
Day 2
Following breakfast, we continue our journey to the Weisses Kreuz Hotel in Feldkirch. A hearty "Grüß Gott" will await us upon arrival, alongside a warm alpine welcome from our hosts.
B, DDay 3
Hop on board for a scenic journey along the Swiss shores of Lake Constance towards the German city of Konstanz, an old imperial citadel. Today's highlight is a visit to the garden island of Mainau. Enjoy a mild climate around carefully designed and maintained with tulips, rhododendrons, scented roses and colourful dahlias, all waiting to be explored. Afterwards, we board a ferry for Lindau, the island city. Located at the foot of the Alps, Lindau is a historic island home to a magnificent harbour, medieval architecture and stunning lake views. Our return journey takes us through Bregenz, which is beautifully situated with views of Lake Constance's eastern shores.
Day 4
Blessed with cobblestoned streets, narrow passages and beautiful facades, explore your quaint resort of Feldkirch in your own time today. Discover the medieval Old Town, one of the most beautiful in the region, and marvel at storied old buildings, charming fountains, the historic Schattenburg castle, and various walks leading to the gloriously green surroundings and wildlife park. Please note - admissions to attractions are not included today.
Day 5
Our day begins with a visit to Tiefencastel where we board the Rhaetian Railway. Following the same path as the world-famous Glacier Express and Bernina Express, this line forms the heart of a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, one of the world's most spectacular routes. After travelling through helical tunnels and over majestic viaducts on this picturesque journey, we arrive in St Moritz, the metropolis of the Alps. Explore this popular ski resort that has hosted the Winter Olympics twice before we return by coach, passing over the Julier Pass and Via Mala, the most remarkable gorge in the eastern Alps.
B, DDay 6
After breakfast, we will be gifted a complimentary souvenir from the hotel before we retrace our steps back through Europe and return to our overnight hotel.
Day 7
Our tour comes to a close as we return home.
