Free time in Looe

Day 1

We travel to picturesque Looe, a popular seaside resort and fishing port. On arrival at our hotel, a festive cream tea will await us this afternoon.

Day 2

Our first visit is to the ancient smugglers port of Mevagissey, a picturesque, traditional Cornish gem. Located within its narrow streets are a wealth of gift shops, galleries, cafes and pubs to explore and take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Cornish pasty while you're here. This afternoon, we return to charming Looe. Why not visit explore narrow streets, vibrant quayside and quirky independent shops? Looe prides itself on its fresh fish, so you won't be disappointed if you fancy some award-winning fish and chips overlooking the harbour!

Day 3

After a leisurely morning, we head to Fowey this afternoon. Nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Fowey, a quintessential seaside town, provides stunning views over the beautiful estuary below. Once the home of novelist Daphne du Maurier, browse the ancient streets and enjoy a friendly festive welcome for which it's well known.

Day 4

Welcome to the cathedral city of Truro, the UK's most southerly city. This great little place offers a unique shopping experience and the impressive Truro Cathedral with its gothic towers dominating the skyline. Just a short walk away, you'll find Cornwall's premier Christmas Market in Lemon Quay, where local farmers and artisans can sell their wares.
