Day 1

We head to Bournemouth with a lunchtime stop in historic Salisbury, home to a stunning Gothic cathedral. From here, we travel to our hotel, where a warm welcome and a hot drink await you. Throughout our break, you'll enjoy festive hotel entertainment each night.

Day 2

After a leisurely start this morning, we head to Poole. Situated on the Jurassic Coast, the bustling resort of Poole is a complete maritime location with a lovely quayside, stunning natural harbour and some of the finest beaches in England. Ancient history and boats can be found at this beautiful resort, which still shows evidence of its medieval past in the historic Old Town. Back at our hotel this evening, a traditional Christmas dinner will be served tonight, followed by an evening of entertainment.

Day 3

Enjoy Bournemouth's festive finery at your leisure today. Why not stroll amongst the town's glorious gardens, parks or seafront? It's the perfect way to enjoy the fresh sea air at this festive time. If you're looking to do some Christmas shopping, the town is decorated for the big day!

Day 4

We journey through the New Forest with visits to the bustling Georgian town of Lymington and Christchurch. Explore Lymington with its narrow streets lined with pretty cottages: this major yachting centre is home to three marinas and a weekly market. We also take in Christchurch, home to two castles and the historic Priory Church to visit; it also boasts a variety of independent shops and local crafts perfect for Christmas gift ideas.

Day 5

Today, we begin travelling home with a stop in Winchester. With the Christmas market set within the Cathedral grounds, why not enjoy some last-minute festive shopping and fancy before we return to the East Midlands?

Suncliff Hotel 3*, Bournemouth

Overlooking Bournemouth Bay, this hotel on the town's East Cliff is an easy walk from beaches and the award-winning gardens. Enjoy the leisure complex, which consists of a heated indoor pool, sauna, small gym, and squash court. The Suncliff also has a restaurant, bar, lounge and traditional English pub with various events throughout the week, such as live music and quiz nights.
