Day 1

With comfort breaks along the way, we travel by coach and ferry to Valkenburg.

Day 2

Enjoy free time to explore the festivities in Valkenburg, the Christmas capital of the Netherlands. The main square transforms into a winter wonderland, home to a colossal singing Christmas tree, while the Municipal Caves houses Europe's oldest and largest underground Christmas market. Named the 'most ambient Christmas market in the Netherlands,' the Velvet Caves provide an atmospheric setting and decor, which are in harmony with the numerous stalls offering unique Christmas gifts and other luxuries.

Day 3

After breakfast, we travel over the border to Aachen in Germany. In your free time today, experience the aura of this friendly city in its festive finery. Every year, the squares and streets become a paradise of lights and colours as the festive season arrives. We later return to Valkenburg with plenty of time for you to see the magical Christmas parade.

We return home, retracing our footsteps back through Europe.
