Windsor is famous for its royal connections and is steeped in the pageantry and history of the royal family. It's also surrounded by the delightful countryside of Royal Berkshire.  You'll discover a lively town in a glorious riverside location with great shopping, restaurants and Windsor Castle, where you can choose optional tickets to explore the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. The family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years, it is an official residence of King Charles and Queen Camilla, whose standard flies from the Round Tower when in residence.

 

Please note that St Georges Chapel is closed to the public on Sundays.
