DDay 2
After breakfast, we drive through the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors to Whitby, a much-loved seaside town! Famous for its connections with Bram Stoker and Dracula, why not climb the famous steps to Whitby Abbey and view the bay below? If you're looking for maritime history, you'll find the Captain Cook Memorial Museum in the 17th-century harbourside house where he served his apprenticeship. Remember to enjoy some fish and chips or track down classic Whitby Jet, which makes for the perfect treat!
B, DDay 3
Enjoy Scarborough at your own pace. Whether you stroll towards the lively town centre and the sandy South Bay Beach or take in the spectacular views of the surrounding coast, the old town area and North Bay Beach - the choice is yours! In addition, you will have your choice of charming cafés, seafood restaurants and traditional seaside pubs to help make your day one to remember. Why not visit Peasholm Park Gardens, an oriental-themed park with beautiful streams, waterfalls, mini bridges and magical gardens?
B, DDay 4
We begin our day travelling through Filey to Bridlington, a resort known for its sandy beaches, award?winning promenades and historic harbour. Behind the long, flat seafront, you will find a thriving town centre to explore. Afterwards, we will travel a short distance to Flamborough Head, with a visit to the Lighthouse Visitors Centre included. Home to two lighthouses, the oldest of which was built during the reign of Charles II, our visit includes a tour of the newer lighthouse, which is still in use today.
