Day 1

We travel to Southport this morning via a scenic drive through the Peak District. Found on the Sefton Coast, enjoy free time in the charming seaside resort of Southport. Stroll down the seafront and the one-hundred-and-fifty-year-old pier, have some good-fashioned seaside fun or try one of many independent restaurants and cafes. Southport Market hosts a fantastic food hall with a large variety of cuisines. Afterwards, we continue to our overnight hotel.

Day 2

We travel to Carlisle to board the world-famous Settle to Carlisle Railway. Running through the awe-inspiring scenery of the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbrian Fells, the Settle to Carlisle Railway is renowned for its colossal Victorian viaducts and long tunnels. Following our journey, enjoy some free time to explore Settle before we return home.
